Hellooo my beavers!
(Excuse my pun, I'm sure I'm not the only one excited for this 3-day weekend)
So our club has begun to officially have members seeing the familiar faces in the meetings and events! Several things were discussed and explained more thoroughly in the meeting yesterday and if you weren't there, I'll be going over them in this email. But first of all, I hope to see you guys in the upcoming events:

So if you missed the meeting we went over the DUES, POINTS SYSTEM, and PROJECT ELIMINATE .
Dues: You DO NOT have to pay the dues. They are not required for you to be a member of our club. However, paying the dues means that you will be an official member of Key Club International. With this membership, you will be eligible to run for a position on the board, get an ID card, and join us in the annual trips LTC and ICON. The dues are $15, and if you plan on paying them, make sure to submit them in an envelope at the meetings with your NAME, OSIS, HOMEROOM and EMAIL so we can keep track of who paid. You will receive a receipt in return so you have proof if we ever need to check.
Points System: The points system is summarized
on our website www.bxscikeyclub.weebly.com so check it out! You will receive points for attending, events, meetings, signing petitions as well as submitting in articles for our newsletter.
Project Eliminate: So after you pay your dues you will receive a small box for the Project Eliminate! This project is a district project which we focus on every year during this time. Project Eliminate strives to eliminate diseases through donations, and for the past few years it has been Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus. Here is a video to explain more about this disease:

There has been a lot of events lately, and to show the new members and your friends what they are about, submit an article or two to the Outreach Committee! Your article will be found in our upcoming newsletter!
Yes, this is a long email but I just wanted to explain some of the things to those who did not attend the meeting. Thanks for taking the time in reading this :)
