[Bxscience Key Club] AWARDS & MANYYYYY SPRING EVENTS

Hiya guys!!

I sent an e-mail but apparently no one got it so here we go: 

So I hope you had fun during the meeting trying to find your soulmate :)!! I found mine(Hi mona!) but for those of you that didn't (Hi Chevy!) it's okay there probably someone out there for you!!! Anyway, here's some news!

So we're fresh from LTC. We won a total of 19 awards (for a list of the awards, they'll be on the website soon but for now, they're on the facebook group)  and also 18 Distinguished Key Clubber recipients :) Congratulations to those who got it!!! 

Our next meeting (April 16) will be the board's last meeting before the Farewell Ceremony. Just a reminder that the Farewell speechesand Timmy's first meeting (sort of) is on April 23.

Also, if you are interested in having a Key Club pen pal from a state or even from a different country, look here.

If you are interested in becoming a part of the divisional board, applications are available here.

Also, here's the Brides Against Breast Cancer Vlog and our winning video for LTC. Our LTC vlogs will come soon :)

P.S. Did you know Key Club international turns 90 years old this May? Anyway, have an incredible Spring Break! Oh and I really love the song "I'm Alive (Life Sounds Like)" by Michael Franti & Spearhead. It's super catchy!! OH and also try recycling more c:

[Bxscience Key Club] Bookmarks,Pennies, Petitions

Hiya guys!!

I hope you all enjoyed making them today :D If you want, you can totally make more. However, make sure to give them to me so that we can mail them all in together.

 If you haven't picked your hoodie up, please pick them up at the next meeting. Also for those of you who STILL haven't picked up your shirts and crew necks, please do so! Those who got it, you should totally wear 'em tomorrow :3

Also, like in the meeting, the New York District Key Club is ordering shirts from the Thirst Project! If you are interested please e-mail back so that I can input in the order for our club. Each shirt is $10 and a picture of it is attached.

THERE WILL BE NO MEETING NEXT WEEK! (Due to Parent Teacher Conferences) The next meeting will be in April and will be the last month for the current board with the Farewell Ceremony on April 23 :( 

If you have change or pennies, gather them and give them to the board when you see us! We have a penny war during LTC in which all the proceeds go to the Eliminate Project.

[Bxscience Key Club] Penny Wars, Petitions& Newsletters

Hiya guys!!
I hope you enjoyed having our two visitors and learning about the Thirst Project and the global water crisis! Next week, we're going to do what we were supposed to when our meeting last week got canceled. So remember to bring scissors, art supplies (markers/crayons/colored pencils), and pretty paper!! :D

Tomorrow is the last divisional of the service year (Aaron's last divisional as LTG)! If you plan on going, we will be meeting at the flagpole at 4:30PM. If you are going on your own, take the D train to Second Avenue!

Also, since we are having Penny Wars during LTC (proceeds for it go to Eliminate), it'd be AWESOME if you kept your change (especially pennies!!) and brought it in during the next meeting. 

Petition Set #22 is out! Here ya go (here)! Sign the ones you agree with :)

Also, here is the October&November Newsletter, December Newsletter, and January Newsletter! Wesley is currently working on the February Newsletter so make sure to send articles!! Send them to the Public Relations Committee Heads, Angie Chen and Erna Radoncic! (chenan2@bxscience.edu and radoncie@bxscience.edu)

[Bxscience Key Club] Thirst Project and Hoodies

Hiya guys!!

GET HYPED!!! A speaker from The Thirst Project is supposed to come next meeting so make sure you don't miss it! The organization raises awareness for the water crisis going on in the world. If you want to know more about the organization go to http://www.thirstproject.org 

Hoodies have been ordered! They will come in about two weeks so if you ordered one, be on the lookout for that. :)
