[Bxscience Key Club] sign up quickly!

Hey guys!

There is an event TOMORROW called the Cystic Fibrosis Brochure Assembly from 4-5:30. Please sign up quickly so a project captain can be assigned.

If you are allowed to volunteer at the Fight For Air Climb on Saturday, you should have received an email from Britney Martin. No PC email will be sent because there are too many mix ups with who is going and who can't. Mahamitra Jagadeshkumar will be your project captain. If you get one from her soon, email jae. 

Sign up NOW to Repair the Rockaways on Sunday or volunteer at the Project Cicero Book Drive next weekend. Please donate books (boxes are located in the library and back of the cafeteria).

Movie Fundraiser will be on March 16. Invite your friends! A form will be on the website soon.

NEXT THURSDAY there will be a guest speaker from The Supply coming!

[Bxscience Key Club] Fight For Air Climb

Hey Guys 


So there was huge confusion with the fight for air climb event because many people did not sign up online, sooo 
there is a huge disparity with who I see is going on the google form and with who I see is going with the list the volunteer coordinator sent me. 

If you got an email from Britney Martin with the volunteer assignments, then you are signed up and ready to go. If not...well we have a lot more volunteer opportunities because we are key club :) 

If you cannot find yourself and want to make sure, I picked out every single Bronx Science student going and put it on a spreadsheet. So the spreadsheet is mixed up with Red Cross members and Key Clubbers.

[Bxscience Key Club] Divisional postponed; BE IN VIDEO IN COURT YARD TMRW AT 3

Hey guys!

Prepare for the snow this weekend with a nice book and a cup of hot chocolate. Speaking of books, we're gonna participate in the Project Cicero Book Drive. Please donate books ASAP. Boxes are in the back of the caf and library!


BE IN THE KEY CLUB VIDEO! SHOW UP AT THE COURTYARD TOMORROW AT 3 PM IN KEY CLUB ATTIRE (TRY TO KEEP IT BLUE, WHITE, GOLD). Let's have 60+ kids show up and show the school what we're made of!!!!!!

Check out the Agenda with lots of information about upcoming things.
The most important things are:
1) Tomorrow's divisional HAS BEEN POSTPONED. 
2) Senior lunch program events are canceled and so are our beanies :/
3) There is a divisional bowling fundraiser on Saturday! For more information, contact Herman Li at lih4@bxscience.edu.
4) If you're not up for bowling, volunteer at the Puppetry Arts Storage Party on Sat or attend the Teen Life Expo on Sunday

P.S. Check our website for other events. Project Cicero spots are filling up fast! Also, if you are a COMMITTEE HEAD or active member, please fill out the DKC Award (more info on our website).

[Bxscience Key Club] OMG IM SORRY I FELL ASLEEP very early last night...

Happy Valentine's Day! I personally think this day is a bit cheesy but it's okay it's nice seeing love birds extra happy because of the little things. Anyways, there is an event on Saturday called Mentor young children with Goal. Please scan in your waiver to sign up.

Future events are the Puppetry Arts Storage Part on 2/23 and Project Cicero 3/9-10 (which is a bit far away but I want you guys to sign up quickly because the event is very popular and closes quickly.)

I am happy to inform you that we are getting the beanies! Click here to reserve one. Please bring your $10 right away!!!

Just so you know, you can still apply for the Distinguished Key Clubber Award. It's actually due at a later date, today is just the day for Early Bird submission. The low amount of applications is a bit disappointing. I know that a lot of you can receive the award! There are also other awards that you can apply for.

Hopeful fundaisers: Another Coffee House, Male pageant Show, Movie Theater. If any of you guys have any ideas, shoot me an email. If you know of any movie theaters that are cheap, lmk! I also plan to have a volleyball tourny on March 30. Let your vb friends from other schools know and spread the word around! It'll be at bronx science. If your friends can ref, send me their email.

We're gonna do a book drive too. Boxes will be set up on wednesday in the caf and library.

BOTH EVENTS HAVE BEEN CANCELED FOR THE WEEKEND.

Fight for Air Climb is pushed back to March 2. 
Mentor Young with GOAL is canceled. There is another event on the 16th and the Divisional Bowling Fundraiser (more info on that later).

Download the DKC application here. It's due on February 15. Click here for a guide to help you fill out the form. You can put it on your college application and your name will be displayed to the entire district. You do not need to be going to LTC to get or apply for the award. The award recognizes anyone who has gone above and beyond to serve the community. Send it ASAP please!

People who can go to LTC will be notified by Wednesday.
