Hi guys :D

I greatly greatly apologize for the mishap with today's meeting. We didn't know that was going to happen. You'll still get points for attending. Again, I'm super super sorry. The first meeting in January will be an election for the President candidates. All the candidates have to prepare a 2 minute speech and paid members will vote on who they think is the best choice! 

Give in your Eliminate boxes!! Tomorrow, Monday & Tuesday are the LAST days you can give it in. E-mail/message/text any of the board members to tell us where to meet you if you want to give us your eliminate box. Contact info here.

REMEMBER TO SEND ARTICLES TO PUBLIC RELATIONS!! You get 10 points per article. Forward each article to Angie (chenan2@bxscience.edu) & Erna (radoncie@bxscience.edu). If you have petitions, send it to them as well!

[Bxscience Key Club] Eliminate boxes due tomorrow!

Hey Guys!

It's almost time for winter break! Which means Eliminate Boxes are due BEFORE we go on vacation! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring them TOMORROW to the meeting. We've only gotten 13 boxes back and I know we gave out more than that! And for the sophomores, juniors and seniors if you have boxes from YEARS BEFORE please bring them in as well!

Hiya guys! :)

I hope ya'll had fun today :) This is going to be a relatively e-mail because of the amount of info we need to give you, so try to get through the whole thing please! Next meeting, we will be having an ornament and bracelet fundraiser. I will send out another e-mail later with a form for that and more info. Basically we're making ornaments and bracelets next meeting!

I hope you guys had a lovely day :) and for those who watched the play, I hope you had a great time. Thank you so much to the many who participated in Food Fair!! We made $172 and we will donate this to a charity you vote on later. We also raised the second highest amount of cans so pat yourself on the back!! GOOD JOB :D

Remember to bring your Eliminate boxes in because this is the last month we can collect those!

Happy Thanksgiving!! :)I hope all of you are having a great Thanksgiving! Make sure to say thank you c: to the people you are thankful for!

THOSE ELIMINATE BOXES! Next month is the last month we are collecting them. So get them in please. 

Next week will be the LAST WEEK FOR NOMINATIONS. 

Remember to send in articles to Angie (chenan2@bxscience.edu) & Erna (radoncie@bxscience.edu). You will get 10 points for each article you write. Basically, the article can be in any format as long as it talks about your positive experience about an event and a few details about that specific event. We need more articles so Wesley can finish his newsletter!!

Make sure to pick which hoodie design is your favorite here. You're only voting on design because we will vote on the color later. Voting ends this Friday.

[Bxscience Key Club] happy quarters, hoodies, cans, and MOREEEEEE

Happy Friday!!!

For those of you who missed the last meeting. You definitely missed out from Giants, Wizards, and Elves to a very special Happy Quarters confession. <3

Remember to continue bringing in cans for the can drive! During the meeting, the members proposed that if Key Club gave in 500 cans, they would get to pie the board. So keep those cans coming. Remember to put your name, OSIS, homeroom, and "Key Club" on it to get your 5 point credit. 

Send in articles to Angie (chenan2@bxscience.edu) & Erna (radoncie@bxscience.edu) . You will get 10 points for each article you write. [Bxscience Key Club] Nominations, Can Drive, Dues, Eliminate, Blank Space :3

Hi everyone!!

I'm sorry I didn't send the e-mail last night :( I crashed after I got home. Anyway, so this week was our first week of nominations. We have two more weeks. If you plan to run for President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, or Webmaster/Editor, make sure to think about whether or not you are dedicated enough, are a paid Key Club International member, or have enough time to do it. Each position can be stressful and can take up a lot of your time. SO only do it if you are serious. 
-
 Bronx Science is having a can drive! So let's go and participate :3 These cans will go to people who desperately need them!! Each can you donate, you will receive 5 points each. However, make sure to put your name, your osis, homeroom, and "KEY CLUB" on it! 

- Remember to pay your dues because not only are they very important, they also give YOU a lot of advantages! They are a total of $14 ($7 to Key Club International, $6 to New York District, and $1 to our club). This is the last month to give in your dues!! 

- Continue collecting money for The Eliminate Project with your boxes!! :) If yours is full give it to us so we can collect it :3

[Bxscience Key Club] Divisional, T-shirts, and Can Drive!

Hey guys! There's going to be a LOAD of information in this email so please read carefully!

The November Divisional will be tomorrow at HSMSE at 5:30PM! However, we will be meeting at the flagpole at 4:30PM in order to travel there together as a group. If you would like to go separately, take the D train to 145th St. and walk. ALSO if you ordered a divisional crewneck, the money will be due tomorrow! If you customized, it is $26, but if you didn't, it is $21. Remember to bring the money in an envelope!

The t-shirts have finally arrived! If you ordered one, please come to one of the meetings to pick up your shirt. Speaking of apparel, because it is getting cold, we would like to get hoodies out as soon as possible! If you are interested in designing one, please submit it using this form. The form will close next week so get your designs in!

If you would like to be more involved in key Club, join a committee (Social Media, Fundraising, Public Relations, Scrapbook, and Projects) or write an article to your Public Relations co-heads, Erna (radoncie@bxscience.edu) and Angie Chen (chenan2@bxscience.edu).

As you may have heard, Bronx Science is having a CAN DRIVE for the month of November. Key Club will be participating in this drive as well! Make sure to write down that you are a member of this club in order to receive points.

[Bxscience Key Club] T-Shirts & Member of the Month

Hi guys!

I just wanted to tell you that we are going to be working on cards for St.Jude's or chew toys for dogs depending on which you prefer. However, in order to make a chew toy, you need to bring in an old t-shirt that you aren't going to use anymore. For each t-shirt you bring, you will get 5 points. Also, if you have any ideas for other things we can do, please contact us.

If you want to go the New York Cares event in which you volunteer with New York City Young Professionals (a Kiwanis club) to paint a mural, please e-mail Aaron (aaroncheung.ltg@nydkc.org) with name, email address, phone number, school and birthday. This is the perfect time to meet some Kiwanians (basically adult Key Clubbers) and Circle K people :D (like Key Club college kids). However, the fee for attending is $12.50 because of  the painting supplies.

[Bxscience Key Club] JDRF, Haunted House, and moree!

Prepare for a LOT of information in this email! :D

Get ready for two more walks! The JRDF Walk is this Sunday 10/05. If you want to attend, sign up ASAP here! Remember to sign up on their website too (provided on the form) The Breast Cancer Walk is on 10/19! If you would like to come, please sign up here!

We are going to have our annual Halloween Haunted House Fundraiser! However, we would like to see the amount of people interested, so people sign up on the interest form. If you do sign up however, you have to go. (You can bring your friends! Everyone is welcome!)

At the meeting today, we talked about committees! To briefly summarize, we have five committees and they are Projects, Fundraising, Social Media, Public Relations, and Scrapbook! If you want to sign up for a committee or want more information, click here!

Please continue to write articles! Make sure to send them to your Public Relations Coheads Erna (radoncie@bxscience.edu) & Angie (chenan@bxscience.edu). Not only will you be featured in our newsletter, you will also receive 10 points for each article you submit. The article can be done in anyway you want. However, make sure to put your personal thoughts on it (has to be positive) and information on the event.
