[Bxscience Key Club] Hello Summer!

Hello little beavers! I hope you've enjoyed the first days of this summer and here we have some upcoming events!
 
This Saturday and Sunday we will be having River to River Festivals: Like Lazarus Did Dance Performance and NYC Players Theatre Performance. We need around 2-3 volunteers for each event so SIGN UP FAST! Responses are needed by tomorrow afternoon!!
So besides that we will be starting with our July events!! :) We have Tour de Queens and it's first come first serve! We will be stationed at the rest stop serving refreshments and snacks.
There are CAF events coming up such as the CAF Swim Clinic and the CAF NYC Triathlon. We also have the Races for Faces Walk on 7/20.
 
Summer Streets in August is going to be a fun event where there will be a street festival and many fun activities!! So even though it seems really far away, sign up!!
 
REMINDERS:
There are forms with the petitions and if you're interested, they're right HERE and HERE(second batch). :)
 
The next newsletter will be revealed soon, but  in order for that to happen, send in articles about the recent events or even a look back to your Key Club year. And remember, submit them to the Outreach committee!! It's summer, I'm sure you have plenty of time :)
 
And in order to give new members and everyone a fair chance, the points system will be reset where all the numbers will go back to zero soon!!
 
Anyways, I hope you guys have a good start to this summer, and see you soon!! :)

[Bxscience Key Club] IT'S SUMMER TIME! (Almost)

Hi everyone!!
 
So I just want to say that I hope you guys did fine on your regents/tests and all :) But while you guys were studying, we have found a few events to start the summer off with!
 
Again, this is a last minute event so I will do the same as I did last week. This SATURDAY, there will be an event called JCC's Annual Spa for Women With Cancer. The event will be held at the Jewish Community Center which can be found at the corner of Amsterdam and 76st from 1pm-6pm. There hasn't been a limit on volunteers needed sooo IF YOU'RE INTERESTED-Respond back to the email with your name, homeroom, email, phone number, and whether are not you are interested in being project captain. As for this event, the responses are needed by TOMORROW NIGHT.
 
Besides that event, we have a few interesting ones coming up such as:

[Bxscience Key Club] POINTS!!

Hey y'all! :) 

Hope you all are enjoying your last few weeks before the year ends! 
One thing though, POINTS!

I know many of you have not been able to get the permission slip signed by me and another board member - but don't worry!!! The credit sheets do not have a due date, and if you're applying for ARISTA, you don't need to submit the sheets until 2nd semester of junior year. If in the case you are not able to find me and another board member during the year, don't worry! You can get them signed by Ms. Kim in September. Ms. Kim is one of our school librarians and you can find her in the library. 

Also, if you do not have 350 points to meet the requirements, that's okay too. First off, the points are not up to date, so what you see now is probably not what you really have. As long as you show us a permission slip, we will sign it for you so you can show it to Ms. Kim! If you're looking for credit sheets, you can find them here -scroll down to find the credit forms!

If you really want them signed by the end of this year, please email me back with your name and homeroom, and I'll see what I can do but really don't worry if you aren't able to get them signed by this year! 

I hope this clears up any confusions/questions/worries,

I will notify you all once the points are completely updated!

Hellooo guys!
 
This will be a short email for updates and reminders!
 
So today we had the last divisional of the school year at Nest+m where the divisional board gave flowers to the seniors! :)
 
As for events we have the Puppetry Arts Festival tomorrow and the Puppetry Arts B&N Book Fair on Sunday! There is another SOUP KITCHEN THIS SUNDAY, the 16th! They need 7 volunteers at the maximum so if you're interested, respond back to me with your Name, Homeroom, Phone Number and Email! As for details, the event will be held at:
351 east 61st at 12pm to 2pm.
 
We also have our WATER WARS fundraiser on the 20th in Juniper! It will held in the early afternoon, more details will be shared! The closing of the sign up form for this event will close on SUNDAY. So if you are interested sign up NOW. Anyone can come, so don't hesitate to bring your friends! :)
 
We will be having more events in the upcoming weeks so I'll see you guys then :) I wish you guys luck on the rest of your regents!!!
 
But besides that, have a nice summer guys :)

[Bxscience Key Club] It's Almost the End of the School Year!!

Hi guys!!
 
So I'm sure that even though there are a couple of days left with real and actual classes in this school year, people are either chilling or getting stressed. For those who are stresed, don't worry :) We have some fun upcoming events!
 
This Sunday we will be having the Eggs Roll and Eggs Cream Festival. The form will close really soon, so if you're interested, do sign up now! The following two days will have the CAF Heroes, Hearts and Hope Gala.
 
We will be having our JUNE DIVISIONAL on the 14th at Nest+m High School(111 Columbia St, New York  10002) at 5:30pm. To get to the school, you can take there by taking the F to 2 Av. Do take the time to come to this one divisional because it will be the last one of this school year.
 
On the next day, we will be helping out at the Puppetry Arts Festival and on the 16th we will have the Barnes and Nobles Book Fair.
 
We will also be having a Water Wars Fundraiser in Juniper Park on the 20th!! Admission is only $3 per person and you will be in large water balloon fight with other teams of 4 :) If you and your friends plan on coming, SIGN UP NOW! Anyone can come!!

[Bxscience Key Club] A quick note about the party

Hello,
 
For those of you who are planning on going to the party, please bring snacks, drinks, plates, or cups. Bring at least one of those things in order to enter the room so there's enough food for everyone. I suggest in bringing drinks, because it seems like we're always short on that.
Seniors, for the raffle, if you have any review books that you don't need, or anything else please donate to the raffle! This message can be for anyone as well.
The more items we have, the more winners there will be!
See you guys there!!

[Bxscience Key Club] Hello June! :)

Hi guys!
 
As the weather is finally warming up, we have a mix of outdoor and indoor events for you all!!
 
TOMORROW we only have the Great Strides Walk, and unfortunately Tour de Cure is cancelled!!
On the 9th we have the Egg Rolls and Egg Creams Festival! This is another one of our popular events so sign up!!
 
On the next two days, we have the CAF Heroes, Hearts and Hope Gala. You can choose your shift (either Monday or Tuesday) on the form. However we need more volunteers for the first day.
We also have two days of Puppetry Arts events! On the 15th we will be helping out at the Puppetry Arts Festival. On the 16th we will have the Barnes and Nobles Book Fair.
 
Feeling the heat? Cool down and chill with us at our WATERS WARS FUNDRAISER!! You will be having a water balloon fight against other teams but you need to find the water balloons first! Admission is only $3!!
 
Reminders:
The Committee Member Sign Up Form has been made and sent out, but we want YOU to be more involved in learning the workings of the club as well as helping out! We're sure that you guys have great ideas to share :) The form will close on WEDNESDAY so don't miss your chance!
 
Even though we just had our last meeting we will be holding a small party to celebrate the end of the school year on Tuesday the 4th, 11th period in the Teacher's Cafeteria! We will be making bracelets for LEAP's Earth Day, and holding raffles! BRING FOOD, I'm sure we can eat a lot :)
 
SEE YOU GUYS! ONLY 5 MORE DAYS OF SCHOOL! :)
