[Bxscience Key Club] K-Sibs, T-shirts, Events, and MORE!

Hey guys!

I hope you guys had fun and made new friends during the icebreakers today! 

Today, we talked about K-Sibs, which is like the Key Club version of Big Sibs. I highly encourage you guys to join since you'll get to learn about Key Club in depth and meet awesome people who are K-Sibs, like me (: If you are interested, fill out this form!

If you feel like you or anyone you know is a good candidate to be the member of the month, then fill out this form. 

If you want to be more involved in Key Club, then join a committee! There are five committees: Projects, Public Relations, Social Media, Fundraising & Scrapbook! Sign up here! I promise each committee is extremely fun and friendly (:

As you guys know, the T-shirts have arrived! If you ordered a T-shirt, please remember to pick up your shirt at the next meeting! If you have any questions, please email Sophia!

Hiya everyone!

I hope you guys enjoyed our activities today. Make sure to keep everything you haven't finished so we can continue next week! :)

We talked about K-Sibs today! If you want to be one or are interested in knowing more, making sure to look at or sign up on this form!

[Bxscience Key Club] T-Shirts & Member of the Month

Hi guys!

I just wanted to tell you that we are going to be working on cards for St.Jude's or chew toys for dogs depending on which you prefer. However, in order to make a chew toy, you need to bring in an old t-shirt that you aren't going to use anymore. For each t-shirt you bring, you will get 5 points. Also, if you have any ideas for other things we can do, please contact us.

[Bxscience Key Club] Boxes, Dues, Breast Cancer, Haunted House!

Hiya :D

Again, sorry for the room situation. We're trying to figure out as soon as possible. Also, watch out soon for another e-mail regarding the next meeting because we're going to be doing a bit of arts and crafts :D Remember to keep up with the Eliminate boxes and to bring in dues (-cough- old members!! -cough-). Also, if you have been to some of the events recently, please send articles to send in articles to Erna (radoncie@bxscience.edu) and Angie (chenan@bxscience.edu).

If you want to go the New York Cares event in which you volunteer with New York City Young Professionals (a Kiwanis club) to paint a mural, please e-mail Aaron (aaroncheung.ltg@nydkc.org) with name, email address, phone number, school and birthday. This is the perfect time to meet some Kiwanians (basically adult Key Clubbers) and Circle K people :D (like Key Club college kids). However, the fee for attending is $12.50 because of  the painting supplies. 

Join our Facebook groups, Bronx Science Key Club, Division 11, New York District, for immediate updates on any upcoming events, meetings, etc (Weekly emails are only sent out on Thursdays after meetings)!

[Bxscience Key Club] JDRF, Haunted House, and moree!

Hiya! :) 

Prepare for a LOT of information in this email! :D

Get ready for two more walks! The JRDF Walk is this Sunday 10/05. If you want to attend, sign up ASAP here! Remember to sign up on their website too (provided on the form) The Breast Cancer Walk is on 10/19! If you would like to come, please sign up here!

We are going to have our annual Halloween Haunted House Fundraiser! However, we would like to see the amount of people interested, so people sign up on the interest form. If you do sign up however, you have to go. (You can bring your friends! Everyone is welcome!)

If you would like to learn more about Neonatal Maternal Tetanus and the Eliminate Project, check out this link: A video created by us :) Let's save lots of lives!

At the meeting today, we talked about committees! To briefly summarize, we have five committees and they are Projects, Fundraising, Social Media, Public Relations, and Scrapbook! If you want to sign up for a committee or want more information, click here!

Please continue to write articles! Make sure to send them to your Public Relations Coheads Erna (radoncie@bxscience.edu) & Angie (chenan@bxscience.edu). Not only will you be featured in our newsletter, you will also receive 10 points for each article you submit. The article can be done in anyway you want. However, make sure to put your personal thoughts on it (has to be positive) and information on the event.

This is just a reminder that there will be a meeting tomorrow in the auditorium and dues can be given tomorrow as well! Remember that dues are $14.00 ($7.00 to International, $6.00 to the District and $1.00 to our club)!
