[Bxscience Key Club] Good bye May, with a little heat and rain!!

HEY GUYS!!

So all of our May events are over, besides the upcoming Amazing Race 3!!
We have a lot of June events so don't worry little beavers!

In the first week on June we have
The week after we have the CAF Heroes, Hearts and Hope Gala on the 10th and 11th.
A few days after this event we have several Puppetry Arts events such as the Puppetry Arts Festival and the Puppetry Arts Barnes and Nobles Book Fair!

We will also be having a Water Wars Fundraiser most likely on June 20, further detail will be given in the next emails!

So today during the meeting we talked about a few things. If you ever sign up for an event, it is expected for you to be present at that particular event or shift. If you can not make it to the event, contact the board or notify your project captain at least so they know. It's rude and disrespectful if you take a spot on the list and not attend the event when the coordinator needs your help. At the very least, notify the board or your project captain so we know.

Second of all, since the school year is coming to an end, we will start giving out Arista credits!!  There will be a permission slip on the website:
for you to print out and give it to the board to sign, approving of your getting of the credits. You must have the permission slip signed in order to have Ms. Kim sign the Co-Curriculars Activities Card. You need at least 350 to receive credits but you can still hand in the permission slip to the board. We will decide whether or not you deserve the credits.
After you have your permission slip approved you complete the following form and give it to Ms. Kim to sign.
Form for Freshmen!!
Form for Sophmores!!
Form for Juniors!!
Form for Seniors!!

Lastly, as you guys know, the new committee heads were recently decided and now we are looking for committee members! If you're interested in being more involved with Key Club this is the application for you! So sign up here!!

NEXT WEEK WILL BE OUR LAST MEETING OF THE SCHOOL YEAR. WE WILL MEET AT THE COURTYARD 3:45PM ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 29!!!

Hope you guys have a nice three day weekend!! See you next week :)

There's the NAMI Walk and Kids Walk for Kids with Cancer this Saturday, with one right after the other! Make sure that for Kids Walk for Kids with Cancer, sign up and submit the waiver online!

After those two walks, on Sunday there's going to be Japan Day!! Don't be discouraged if you can't volunteer you can always find us at the tents when you visit :)
The next big event will be the Amazing Race, you can register your teams here! The registration deadline will be May 12 at 11:59pm.

I would like to say a congratulations to our new committee heads!

We look forward to working with you. And if you didn't get the position you wanted, you can sign up to be a committee member!!
And I know this is super random, but if any of you have heard of the book, "Hand on the Freedom Plow" that is signed please respond back (as a favor for Mr. Colchamiro)!!

Have a nice weekend (and Happy Mother's Day) guys!
