[Bxscience Key Club] Almost the end of March!!

Hello little beavers!! :)

Thank you for coming to the meeting today when there was a Lunar production going on in the auditorium. But if you missed today's meeting, here are the upcoming events! 

Queens Half Marathon 3/22
Bowling Fundraiser!! 3/23

UPDATES/REMINDERS:
 
-I'm sure you and all your friends have change. So even if you're not attending LTC, help Division 11 win at the PENNY WARS! Collect your pennies and bring them to the meeting! There will be a jar in the Chemistry Department, so feel free to drop by there to give in your pennies! We only need pennies to win, but to sabotage others, be prepared to gather your change too! So save your nickels, quarters and dimes and we will be collecting them separately! Spread the word! I'm sure everyone has pennies that they can spare! :) 
-Just to get you all excited, be expecting the arrival of hoodies in the next few weeks before Spring Break!! Since Parent Teacher Conference will be taking place next week, we may not have a meeting next Thursday to pass hoodies out but we definitely will in April!

If you missed my last update last week here are the upcoming events!

আইন ও মানবাধিকার

আপনার জামিন যে কারণে বাতিল হতে পারেঃ

জামিন অর্থ আইনগত হেফাজত হতে কোন আইন ব্যক্তিকে ছেড়ে দেয়া ৷কিন্তু আপনি এমন কাজ Law of Bangladeh করলেন যার ফলে আপনার এ জামিন বাতিল আইন প্রণয়ন পদ্ধতি হয়ে যেতে পারে, তথ্য অধিকার আইন আপনাকে আবারও আটক করে হাজতে বাংলাদেশের আইন প্রেরণ করতে পারেন আদালত।

যে ৬টি কারণে জামিন বাতিলআইনি জিজ্ঞাসা  হয়-
১. যদি আসামী তদন্তে বাঁধা সৃস্টি করে আইনি সহায়তা
২. সাক্ষী, বাড়ী ভাড়া নিয়ন্ত্রণ আইন অভিযোগকারীদের আইন শিক্ষা হুমকি দেয়া বা ক্ষতি আইন ও বিচার করলে
৩. যদি আসামী আইনি প্রক্রিয়া বিদেশে চলে গেলে  Bangladeshi LAW বা তাকে জামিনদারের মাধ্যমে না পাওয়া গেলে 
৪. জামিন পাওয়ার পর বাংলাদেশের সকল আইন  একই ধরনের অপরাধ বা এ ধরনের অপরাধ আবার করলে
৫. যদি প্রতিশোধ আইনি ব্যবস্থা নেওয়ার মত আইন ও মানবাধিকার কোন কাজ করে বাংলাদেশের আইন কানুন 
৬. যদি জামিনের শর্ত ভঙ্গ করে বা আইনি লড়াই  অপব্যবহার করে তবে আসামীর মোবাইল কোর্ট আইন জামিন বাতিল করে তাকে আবার জেল-হাজতে দন্ডবিধি প্রেরণ করবে আদালত আইনি পরামর্শ।

If you didn't attend the meeting today, here are the upcoming events:

Project Cicero 3/8-3/9 (you can pick your own shifts!) PLEASE SIGN UP BY TONIGHT

UPDATES/REMINDERS:
 
-The MARCH DIVISIONAL is TOMORROW, at LAGUARDIA HIGH SCHOOL!! If you have heard about LTC countless times but you still don't know what it is, come to this meeting! You also get to meet a lot of Key Clubbers from other schools such as LaGuardia, Stuyvesant and Hunter. This is also the last meeting for our current Lieutenant Governor, Lillian Xie so join us in appreciating her the great work that she has dedicated for the service year. 
If you want to go together as a group, we will be meeting at the flagpole after school, at 3:15pm. We are definitely going to get there early but we can hang around the area-it's Columbus Circle/Lincoln Center! If you plan on meeting us there, you can take the D train to Columbus Circle 59st and walk to Lincoln Center. The school is right behind Lincoln Center and Julliard.
