[Bxscience Key Club] [keyclub] writing articles for the newsletter = points

Hey Keyclub!

This is your immediate passed secretary, and current editor, Jessica. Hope y'all had a good time at March of Dimes! :)
I'm emailing you guys now because I would like to ask for your help!

If you dont already know, our club has a newsletter (which is basically a magazine/newspaper) called the KIWI.
It is the Editor's job to publish the newsletter as often as possible. My goal is to publish newsletters MONTHLY

But in order to fill up and publish newsletters, we need to write ARTICLES.
Yes, I'm asking you all to SUBMIT TO THE NEWSLETTER

If you have gone/are going to any of the recent events/upcoming events (AFTER April 15th, and before May 15th!):
April Divisional--April 17
Project Mentor--April 17 OR April 24
Vision Walk--April 21
Family Festival --April 28
March of Dimes--April 29
Kids Walk with Cancer -- May 12th
Nami Walk -- May 12th
Japan Day -- May 13th

and would like to earn 20 POINTS PER ARTICLE, PLEASE WRITE A 200 word ARTICLE (min.) to submit to the newsletter!

It wont take long to write, maybe just 10 mins of your busy schedule, MAX!:
  •  just a brief overview of the event (time started, around how many people came, around how much money raised, --- if you dont know, thats okay, i can check this stuff)
  • what you did there (volunteer at _____, walker, walked _____ miles)
  • Some details wouldnt hurt! (food offered, etc).
  • Please include at least ONE QUOTE from someone, other than yourself, (a friend you met at the event or something) about how they enjoyed the event.
  • Most of all, have fun writing it! Get as creative as you want! (narrate a story, use figurative language, all that good stuff!)

If you're interested, you have until 11:59PM on SUNDAY, MAY 13th, to send the article to me (chanm9@bxscience.edu)!
If you need an extension, email me ahead of time and I'll definitely wait for you! Email me if you have any questions too!
Its an easy 20 points to be earned, for those of you eager to catch up on points before JUNE rolls around! (300 points = keyclub credit for arista!)
(It will also look nice if you're going for a committee chair position, ahem. I'll put in a good word! LOL)

Yours in Caring and Service,
--Jessica :)
