It's that time of the year to pay your dues again! This year, the price unfortunately went up to $15, but don't worry because you're definitely making a good investment!
What do I get from paying dues?
Besides being able to JOIN the international family, you can also run for HIGHER OFFICE (positions in the Club), be eligible to attend our annual LEADERSHIP TRAINING CONFERENCE (a weekend trip to Albany!) and the ICON (a summer international convention in CALIFORNIA this year), obtain Membership Cards, pins and handbooks and QUALIFY for awards presented during the conferences.
When/Where/How should I pay my dues?
You can pay your dues upfront during the Key Club Meetings (every thurs in Room 334). If you are not able to make it to the meetings, then spot for me or email me so I can bump you in the hallways! I will write a receipt for you which you should keep with you until December in the case you need it to prove that you paid. IF YOU LOSE your receipt and I do not have you on my roster, then.................you're screwed. (Come to me ASAP if that happens so we can figure something out)
DEADLINE FOR DUES: OCTOBER 25th, 2013
After submitting your dues, you will get an ELIMINATE BOX, initiating the start of one of our biggest fundraisers of the year!
When it comes down to it, I definitely encourage you to pay for your dues but IT'S NOT A REQUIREMENT. You do not have to pay to be a part of Bronx Science Key Club. If you are active in our club, then you'll still be considered a part of our family regardless. Paying for dues only apply to those who want to run for positions this year or get more involved on District/International Level etc.
