[Bxscience Key Club] Minions, T-shirt Order Form, and K-Family Events!

Hey guys!

Before you read this email, I just wanted to point out something that I've been seeing. Although it is summer time and most of us just want to relax, it does not mean that Key Club takes a break! There are still so many fun events that you can attend and even though they may not be as enjoyable as some of the other events, you should still try your best to go to them because you are still helping your community and having an impact on it. If anything, you should have more time in the summer because you aren't bombarded with any school work! I hope to see more of you at events in the nearby future and remember what you joined this club for :D (To help out and to make people happy!)

Our Minions Movie Fundraiser is this Sunday, July 19th at Movie World Cinemas in Douglaston! Feel free to invite your family and friends to come join us and have fun! You can find more information and the link to sign up here.

The T-shirt design that won was Design #5! If you would like to order one, please use this form. If more people order, then it will be cheaper so convince all of your friends to order one as well!!! Incoming freshmen can definitely order one too!

There are 3 new K-Family events that you can participate in! There will be 2 Queens K-Family Day of Service events (one on July 25th and one on August 8th) and the 5th Annual K-Family Picnic! If you would like to attend any of the events or want more infornation, you can find their links in the "Upcoming Events" section.

If you are interested in doing more for Key Club, join a committee! Committees are a great way for you to learn more about how this club works and you get to be a part of the action that goes on behind the scenes! There are five committees (Public Relations, Social Media, Projects, Fundraising, and Scrapbook) so there is definitely something that you will be interested in! Sign up here.

We have decided to introduce the K-Sibs program on a club level since it was removed at the divisional level. Just like the Big Sib program that we have in Bronx Science, the K-Sibs program will require big sibs to be responsible and excited for incoming members! You will be role models and there will be people looking up to you. If you are interested and want more information, check out this form.

Our Social Media Committee has released two new videos, a Thank You video to Riverdale Kiwanis Club for sponsoring us on our journey to the Leadership Training Conference of 2015 and a vlog of our annual Water Wars and Picnic Fundraiser! You can check them out here (Thank You Video) and here (Water Wars Vlog)

Remember to send articles to Mona
 and the Public Relations Committee
 so that
 Mona
can release her first newsletter as soon as possible! You can send them articles here.

We have released Petition Set #5
! Remember to only sign petitions that you agree with, not just for the points! You can find it here
.

Upcoming Events:
- Timmy :)

PS. Chinatown Youth Initiative is hosting Chinatown Beautification Day again this year, but they need funding to get more supplies! If you can donate money, please do so at this link.

PPS. The summer is already a quarter done!!! Make sure to enjoy it while it lasts!
