Hey guys,
I apologize for not informing you that we did not have a meeting last Thursday, the 17th. I did not know until that day. If you waited for the meeting to find out it was canceled, I am very sorry.
I also apologize that you guys did not get to meet or see the special guest I told you all about. The special guest turned out to be Josephine Lukito, a former president of Bronx Science Key Club. She was the president during the 2007-2008 year of service during my freshman year. She has been the Lieutenant Governor for her Circle-K Division for the past 3 years and will be the next Governor for the New York District Circle-K.
On a brighter note, we will have special guests for the next 2 meetings so stay tuned!
I have attached the agenda I had planned for the 17th so everyone can see what I planned to talk about during the meeting. I will paste some of the more important information on this email:
A. Coastal Cleanup: March 26th from 9pm-1pm
1. Form: https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?hl=en&formkey=dGtnRk1ld19KT1c2Y1VPdG1SM1RJX2c6MQ#gid=0III. Hoodie Designs: https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B0ObQH4CKodsZTc5NDJiZjYtYWVmZi00NmFiLWE5Y2EtYTJlMjk0N2UyYjg4&authkey=CJumr-0P&hl=en
A. Fill out this form BY TUESDAY: https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?hl=en&formkey=dFhkX3JnYjZ5V0JPN1MyY21IRFdMbGc6MQ#gid=0
IV. Distinguished Key Clubber Application
A. The deadline has passed, but the district has decided to EXTEND THE DEADLINE! SO I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO APPLY!
B. If you need a recommendation, please email benfang93@gmail.com ASAP
C. When you are finished, email the application to ♫
D. Guide to DKC: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1AQ-mk0t6Eh76KqJlc04D2hb0CmsrN8p77LWB0NOltro/edit?authkey=COKvm5gK&hl=en#
B. Fundraising Competition: Fundraising Chair Julie Chen came up with the idea of having a competition to raise money for Japan. Key Clubbers will be encouraged to:
1. Make a donation box (much like the one for UNICEF)
2. Collect as many donations as possible for Japanese relief efforts
DEAR KEY CLUBBERS,
If you sent in your DKC Application, please send it AGAIN!
Yours in Caring and Service,

Hey guys, Can you please notify all your clubs immediately that if they sent their dkc award to me last night online to my email address to please resend asap. For some reason my email was hacked and my dkc folders were wiped out so if they sent me their dkc award last night or even the night before I no longer have it and they need to resubmit. Im so so sorry for the issue, I do not understand why my email would get hacked but I want to make sure everyone has their chance to apply for the award. Also due to all the chaos with the chair changing and stuff I will be accepting awards up until a week before convention. So inform your clubs. Thank you. Yours In Service, Lieutenant Governor Katie Toomey Division 15 Glens Falls High School Key Club |
Hey key clubbers,
1) This is just a reminder that food fair is TOMORROW!
We have a large table this time, so I expect people to bring tons of food to sell. This food fair is going to be bigger and better because we have members of the PTA, teachers, and even more hungry students looking for scrumptious food to devour. Try to bring in unique or cultural foods because they usually sell the best.
With this email I am attaching the sheet you need to fill out and bring with your food. Please fill it out properly!
I also need people to volunteer to help me set prices, watch the food, and sell. Remember you get POINTS for bringing in food and helping out!
2) For those who have completed and sent the Distinguished Key Clubber Application, CONGRATULATIONS!
For those who haven't but still want to, please fill it out immediately and sent it to katietoomey.ltg@nydkc.org ASAP.
The deadline has passed but an inside source told me they are still accepting applications.
IF you need me to write a recommendation, reply to this email or contact me any way ASAP.
Here is the guide to DKC: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1AQ-mk0t6Eh76KqJlc04D2hb0CmsrN8p77LWB0NOltro/edit?authkey=COKvm5gK&hl=en&pli=1#
Remember that there is a meeting on Thursday with a special guest and that we will vote on our next hoodie during this meeting. Following the meeting will be our March Divisional @ Hunter College High School.
If you have any questions, email me!
Thanks and I hope to see you all tomorrow.

Hello Key Clubbers,
It is about 4:30 in the morning, but I have important news to relay to you all
1) Projects Chair Alexander Guo, Victoria Li, and I are creating a tribute to our club in this year's yearbook to celebrate our year of service. Because this costs a lot of money, we are asking members to contribute as much as they want so we can have a full page (or even half page!) tribute.
Please attend this event: http://www.facebook.com/#!/event.php?eid=203062559720245
^All of the information will be in the event description. There, you will also find our schedules and where you can find us if you so choose to contribute financially.
Here is Alex's contribution rating chart: $1-$5: cool cool
$5-$10: cooler
$10-$20: super awesome
$20+: my new favorite Key Clubber[s] lmao ;)
...but srsly thanks to all those who want to contribute :] those who contribute have my deepest appreciation :D

Link for the guide: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1AQ-mk0t6Eh76KqJlc04D2hb0CmsrN8p77LWB0NOltro/edit?hl=en#
