It took me awhile to write this and I just want to keep you guys updated on what is happening. So help me by reading this and signing up for events you want to go to! :)
Ocotober Divisional (TOMORROW!)
We will be meeting outside the main entrance (with the mosaic) at 4:30 pm to leave together for the High School for Math, Science, and Engineering. A great chance for new members to see who is in our Bronx-Manhattan Division 11 and how we operate! Plus, you get points if you come.
Fall Rally

Trick-or-treat for UNICEF Box - Maternal/Neonatal Tetanus (Project ELIMINATE)
You know those orange boxes? Well we expect each of you to raise at least $10. Ask friends and family members. Remember, $1.80 is all that is needed to treat a mother and ensure her future children will be free of the disease. We have distributed approximately 250 boxes. If everyone collects $10, we will have $2500. Think about it when you decide whether or not to ask someone to donate. Together, we can make a big difference. (I know that sounds cliche but totally true! Remember that together we raised $910 at the Breast Cancer Walk!)

1. Planting Trees
When: Sunday, October 23 / 10 am - 1 pm
Where: Conference House Park (Staten Island)
Meet up at the Staten Island Ferry at 8:30 AM and if you get lost call Jae at (718) 734-7841.
Email VP Jae (kwonj2@bxscience.edu) if you did not sign up for the event originally but want to go now. Include your full name, homeroom, OSIS, email, and phone number.
2. Volunteer at Tour de Bronx at Registration (Click here for form)
When: Sunday, October 23 / 8-11 am
Where: 161st Street & Grand Concourse (Near Yankee Stadium on 4 train)
3. Kiwanis Halloween Window Painting Contest (Click here for form)
When: Saturday, October 29 / 8 am (NOTE: Same day as the Fall Rally)
Where (starting location): Blue Bay Restaurant on Johnson Ave. between 235st and 236st
Committees
Click here to sign up for the Projects (find and organize volunteer events), Fundraising (brainstorm and organize ways to fundraise money for causes), Public Relations (write articles for our newsletter and work on petitions to raise awareness), or Scrapbooking (take pictures and later on construct scrapbooks to document the Key Club year for competition).
