Hello People of the Bronx Science Key Club :)
 
UPDATES

Trick or Treat for Unicef - Project ELIMINATE
LABEL YOUR BOXES WITH YOUR NAME AND HOMEROOM !!!!
We will start collection next month, but we will not be sending in the money until the end of November. So keep collecting money for a long time ;D

Remember to read the back of your box if you need information on what we are raising money for!
 
Halloween Candy Fundraiser
GO TRICK-OR-TREATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and then give us all your delicious, savory candy.
It's for a good cause !
For every pound of candy donated, a dollar is donated to. Plus, the candy will be shipped overseas to soldiers.

Email Ashley (poona@bxscience.edu) and Thomas (chant2@bxscience.edu) so you can meet with them to give in the candy. They will be collecting at the next meeting but please do not wait until then because... well that's A LOT of candy!

UPCOMING EVENTS
Fall Rally is an event where all the NYC Key Clubs get together and just chill. There will be workshops for writing college essays, improvisation, ice breakers, etc. Lunch will be served, BUT there will be a $10 entrance fee.
 
Kiwanis Halloween Window Painting Contest 10-29-11
The form is closed BUT FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE GOING.
The event will be at Riverdale on Riverdale Ave. from W. 236th St. to W. 238th St and on Johnson Ave. from W.235th St. to W. 236th St. as well as W. 235th St. I know it's pretty far and it will take a while to get there, but it's a Saturday! We will be meeting up at the Blue Bay restaurant on Johnson Ave. between 235st and 236st 7:00AM
 
Halloween Parade 10-31-11
For all of you guys who aren't going trick or treating, This event will be a great substitute :D
You will be helping build haunted houses, setting up (tables and games), and preparing gift bags (they give gift bags for halloween? they should be giving out ripped out brains, or barfbags >:O).
 
YOU MUST BE IN A CONTUME!!!!!!
 
It will be held at PS 372 in Brooklyn
We will meet up and go there as a group afterschool on Monday.

JCC Teen Operation Chicken Soup 11-9-11
JCC IS BACK!~(yes Amanda....I put the tilde)
At this particular JCC event we will be preparing and handing out food for people from the JCC Soup Kitchen :D
Much like what the lunch ladies in our school do except we don't get to be kind or mean to people directly :( (kind is preferable)
The event is from 5:15 to 7:15 and we will be meeting up afterschool to go as a group
